KAHN Defender


Kahn Design is a British-based engineering company that specialises in producing bespoke vehicles. Owned by Afzal Kahn with a factory in Bradford, the company was originally incorporated in 1998 as A Kahn Design Limited. Initially the company designed and sold alloy wheels, but in 2003 developed into car design modifications and traded as Project Kahn and subsequently into Kahn Design. As of 2011, the company employs 80 people, including 20 designers.

The company design and manufacture car parts for restyling high-end cars. Range Rovers are a core part of the business but cars like Mercedes, Audi, Porsche, Bentley and Aston Martin are also included in the portfolio.

The company recently entered a deal with Jeep and created The Chelsea Truck Company to sell a conversion of the Jeep Wrangler. Engine modifications on the Kahn Cosworth Range Rovers are carried out by Northamptonshire-based Cosworth. The company has sold a number of vehicles to showbiz clients such as Justin Bieber and Katie Price.
